Why I Do What I Do:

NuWorld Energy is a company that is dedicated to addressing climate change by reducing energy-related Greenhouse Gas emissions through the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.  In addition, we seek to provide economic and workforce benefits to local communities where we do business. We aim to help the planet and help the population simultaneously!

Career Commitment

I am a clean energy enthusiast that genuinely enjoys the thrill of business building and startup culture.  I grew up in an entrepreneurial family and the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.  I started my first business at age 19 and started two more after that until I finally founded NuWorld Lighting In February 2016 which has been my most successful endeavor thus far.  My experience with having grown NuWorld Lighting to becoming a “top-performing lighting contractor” in Long Island led me to develop a thorough understanding of what property owners and private businesses really want and care about when it comes to adopting Energy Efficiency solutions. I learned to speak their language over the past 6 years, and am now intimately aware of their wants and needs. It was truly a remarkable experience having started a business in the energy efficiency industry right as the industry began its exponential growth.  I am extremely grateful to have been a part of that.  It taught me so much about energy efficiency, utility companies, rebate processes, energy analysis, commercial market desires, government contracting, managing business, managing teams, and everything in between.  I feel like in the last 6 years I have gotten an advanced degree in the business of energy efficiency.  In addition to that experience, I also studied the technical aspects of sustainability.  This led to having received multiple green and clean energy certifications including (Investor Ready Energy Efficiency certification, BPI Building analyst certification BPI Goldstar Contractor Certification)

That experience gave me the insider knowledge needed to embark on launching a purpose-driven clean energy company with a mission to deliver massive, quantifiable, and impactful solutions to help decarbonize our atmosphere.
